CCAT's Education & Workforce Development Initiative

CCAT advances STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) literacy, stimulates interest in STEM fields (including manufacturing), and trains the current and future workforce to be more globally competitive by:

• developing and implementing engaging, contextual, award-winning K-12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programming that supports 21st century skills development and promotes training of the emergent, highly-skilled workforce (see "Student Programming" and "Workforce Programming");

• implementing innovative professional development that equips teachers with the tools needed to increase student participation and achievement (see "Teacher Programming"); and

• partnering with K-12 schools, other non-profit organizations, higher education institutions, government, business, and industry to grow and develop the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) talent pipeline (see "Outreach and Awareness" and "Partnerships").
